1. General provisions

This Privacy Policy forms an integral part of the Platform Terms of Use and the Public Offer Agreement.

The Platform BoText is operated by Andrii Kendzor, conducting business activity as a sole trader in Poland.

2. Applicable law

2.1. Personal data is processed in accordance with:

GDPR / RODO - Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data;
the Act of 10 May 2018 on the Protection of Personal Data;
other applicable legal acts of the Republic of Poland.

The supervisory authority responsible for personal data protection is the President of the Personal Data Protection Office - Prezes Urzedu Ochrony Danych Osobowych (UODO).

3. Personal data

Personal data means any information that directly or indirectly allows the identification of a natural person, including but not limited to:

first name and last name;
contact details;
payment information;
IP address and technical device data;
other data voluntarily provided by the User.

4. Purposes of personal data processing

Personal data is processed for the following purposes:

providing the services of the Platform;
performing contractual obligations;
ensuring communication with Users;
complying with the legal requirements of the Republic of Poland;
protecting the rights and legitimate interests of the Administrator.

5. Legal basis for processing

Personal data is processed on the basis of:

the consent of the data subject;
the necessity to perform a contract;
compliance with legal obligations;
the legitimate interest of the Administrator in accordance with GDPR / RODO.

6. Rights of data subjects

The User has the right to:

obtain information about the processing of their personal data;
request correction or deletion of personal data;
restrict or object to the processing of personal data;
request data portability;
lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office - Prezes Urzedu Ochrony Danych Osobowych (UODO).

7. Transfer of data to third parties

Personal data may be transferred to third parties only in cases provided for by the laws of the Republic of Poland, where necessary for the provision of Platform services, or with the User's consent.

8. Protection of personal data

The Administrator applies appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data in accordance with the requirements of GDPR / RODO and the Act of 10 May 2018 on the Protection of Personal Data.

9. Data retention

Personal data is stored for the duration of the User's account and for 45 calendar days after its termination, as specified in the Agreement, unless a longer retention period is required by applicable law.

10. Changes to this Privacy Policy

The Administrator has the right to amend this Privacy Policy without prior notice. The current version of the Privacy Policy is always available on the Platform.

11. Jurisdiction

This Privacy Policy is governed by the law of the Republic of Poland. All disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Poland.

12. International data transfers

If personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, Andrii Kendzor, as the operator of the BoText Platform, uses Standard Contractual Clauses or other mechanisms permitted under GDPR / RODO.
