Getting started with BoText

You do not need a development team to launch BoText. Create an account, point the bot at your website, customize it, and paste one script.

1. Create your account

Open Sign up, create a customer account, and confirm your email. The dashboard is the home for every bot you own.

2. Create a bot

Start a new project and add the website URL you want the assistant to know. BoText prepares the bot from that site. Project name, language, website link, created date, and bot UID stay visible on the bot card (read-only after creation). If preparation is still running, use the processing screen until the status is Ready.

3. Configure it

Open Config. Set the assistant name, icon, first message, temperature, additional information, contact details, theme, colors, font, and corner radii. The preview on the right updates as you edit. Save when it looks right. Full details: How to configure the bot.

4. Train it

Under Knowledge you can recrawl the website, upload documents, or paste text such as FAQs and service descriptions. The more precise this content is, the better the answers. See Train the bot on your business.

5. Put it on the website

In the dashboard header, open Deploy (on Config, smaller screens also show Get script). Copy the snippet and paste it into your site — WordPress, Shopify, Framer, or any HTML page. Guide: How to install the bot on your website.

6. Collect leads and structured data

If your plan includes CRM, open Creator to define tables. Each table gets three skills (Get, Create, Update) so the assistant can store bookings or requests in chat. Then review people under Contacts. Guide: CRM, Creator, and skills.

7. Watch real conversations

After visitors start chatting, open Analytics → Chats. Use those questions to improve the website, the offer, and the knowledge base. Analytics → Usage shows message credits (1 per bot reply, plus 1 per skill in that turn) and knowledge characters. Invite colleagues from Members when you need extra hands.
