Invite team members and set access

Updated September 27, 2026

Invite colleagues so more than one person can run the bot. Extra seats come from your plan’s member limit (for example 1 on Basic, 3 on Business, 5 on Scale, 20 on Enterprise). Plans with 0 members cannot send invites.

Invite someone

  1. Open CRM → Members.
  2. Create an invite and enter their email. They get a one-time link.
  3. They create or open their account as a workspace member and join that bot.
  4. After they accept, you can edit first name, last name, job title, and role. Email stays read-only. Status is Pending until they accept, then Active.

If you removed someone and want them back, send a new invite to the same email. They sign in with their existing account.

Roles

  • Owner — the customer who created the workspace. Always listed. Full access. Can appoint a Co-Owner.
  • Co-Owner — full access, including invites. Cannot appoint another Co-Owner.
  • Administrator — can use every dashboard section and can revoke members. Cannot invite people or assign roles.
  • Member — can view CRM data. Other sections stay off until you turn on the switches below.

Only the Owner and Co-Owner can send invites and change roles. Owner, Co-Owner, and Administrator can remove a member.

Access switches (Members)

These switches appear on a Member card. Owner, Co-Owner, and Administrator already have every section — you will see a note instead of toggles.

  • Config — design, greeting, temperature, instructions, and widget settings
  • Integration — skills (shown only if Integration is enabled on the bot)
  • Knowledge — Web, Docs, and Text
  • Analytics — usage and chats
  • Billing — plans and payment history
  • Custom tables — create and edit records in tables this person can open. It does not replace Creator: building the data model stays with people who manage tables.

Open the person, set name, job title, role, and switches, then Save. Members only see Access controls on their own card; owners and co-owners manage everyone else’s access.

Tables can still be limited to selected people in Creator, even if Custom tables is on. See CRM, Creator, and skills.

Partner Access

If a partner is connected to this bot, open Access (not Members). Three switches control what they can manage:

  • Configuration — assistant name, icon, colors, first message, and widget settings
  • Knowledge base — web pages, documents, and custom text
  • Deploy — embed script and language options

Save after you change a switch. You can revoke any of these at any time.

Remove a member with the red Remove action. Confirm in the in-app dialog — this revokes dashboard access for that bot.
